My name is Michael and I am an accomplished Tennis Player, with over 11 years playing & 2 1/2 years Coaching Experience, I have basic CPR training and carry a Sports First Aid kit. I will coach anyone (preferably age 16+) in all aspects of the game.
Would you like to try a New Sport? Maybe you want to learn a few Basic Techniques to improve your game or do Winter Training to stay in shape, lose weight and improve your physical fitness. I can teach you about Grips, Basic Stroke Patterns for Serve, Forehand/Backhand, Volley, Overhead Smash, Slice/Backspin etc. I can help you to improve all your Techniques, Tennis Conditioning, Footwork, Court Movement and Match Strategy, if you are aiming to enter Tournaments or Tennis Leagues.
I will provide 70+ Tennis Balls, Spare Tennis Racket & Footwork Equipment. I know of two free courts of a very high standard, based at Finsbury Park N16 and Springfield Park E5 & 4 Floodlit courts in Central London.
I will travel within underground zones 1, 2 or 3. I charge an Autumn/Winter rate of £10.00, per student/per hr, at or near these locations: Bethnal Green, Finsbury Park, Hackney Central, Leyton, Stamford Hill, Hackney Downs or Mile End.
If you decide to have your sessions outside of these Zones/Areas, Latimer Rd, Holland Prk, Battersea Prk, Vauxhall Prk, Clapham South etc, then I will need to charge £15.00 per student/per hr to compensate for distance travelled.
I will expect the student to Book & Pay for Courts in advance. As my time is at premium, I would appreciate a 24 hour Advance Notification for booking of lessons. I only train students who really want to learn this beautiful & fantastically absorbing game.
The full hourly fee will be charged for cancellations less than 24 hours; this does not apply to lessons that are cancelled due to bad weather or ill health. Students must be punctual at all times, to avoid delays to other sessions. Thanks
Please ensure that clothing is suitable for weather conditions and that footwear is appropriate for hard courts, to avoid potential injuries to ankle or knee joints. Students must declare any previous injuries or health concerns that may become worse as a result of participating in tennis training.
