Come along on a club night and you will find a willing opponent for a friendly game of chess. If that's all you want to do, then that's fine with us, but most of us also play for a club team. Players of all standards can take part.

Our 'A' team are the current Div. 1 Champions of the Calderdale Evening Chess League, while our 'B' team play in the 2nd division of the same league. We are also affiliated to the Huddersfield and District Chess Association and are competing in their Rapidplay League and Handicap KO Tournament.
